Hallo

Out of the pipe that is mounted beside de hand pump, the end is directed down,is leaking a lot of diesel.
What is happening? The motor runs goed.

Many thanks for your help

Eric

The fuel is most likely leaking past the push rod of the lift pump which is mounted with three bolts on the side of the main pump. Replace the lift pump & the leak will stop. Don't forget to top up the main pump with engine oil after replacing the lift pump

I have replaced the pump, and its looking good.
In a few working ours we will be sure.
many thanks for your help

Eric

Today the 5718 has worked for 4 hours, and the pipe is still dry.
It was sure the liftpump.
:D
many thanks
Eric
