In my instruction manual i says that one should raise the arms max and than close the hydraulic valve and "turn off" the hydraulic pump when traveling with heavy equipment. I don't get it? how do I turn off the hydraulic pump?
Forgot: It's a Zetor 8011 -73
Dont know. There is a lever to turn it off but we never used it.
When your piston seal or valve leaks a little, you'd want to keep he pump running to correct its height when it slowly drops...
Hi on my 7045 there are 2 levers on the floor 1 for hi and low and the 1 on the left works the pto the one that works the pto also works the pump there are three positions furthest foward is pto off and pump on second position is pto on and pump and furthest back is pump off. hope this is some help .

The lever to turn off the pump is under the clutch pedal on the side of the clutch housing. It's not a good idea to turn it off for reasons Renze said.
