Everytime I put my 5211 in neutral and let the clutch out I cant seem to get the gears to mesh back up again without them grinding? I even tried turning the idle down real low but even with the clutch pushed in again, they just dont want to mesh up again.
There is a simple transmission shaft brake working on the 4th gearwheel to brake down the lower shaft to make shifting a little easier. I dont know if it is actuated with the brakes or the clutch.
This brake is just a block of metal gently pushing against the gearwheel.
Just got my owners manual today and it says I should double clutch. I had the same grinding problem when shifitng to a higher gear and again the manual says when do so you should also double clutch.. The only problem with that is by the time I double clutch from a roll, the tractor will already have stopped
This has got me wondering... is zetor syncromesh??? i have had problems with a 7011 in the past when changing gear so i just put it in a slow gear and kept it there the whole time. but on my leyland it is syncromesh and it will change to any gear with no grinding
I believe the syncromesh gerbox came first with the 7745, so if you have a older one the gearbox is not syncronized. I believe your clutch is a little too loose (it doesnt decluth enough), try adjusting it to specs and see if there is any change in changing gears. I did this to my 7011 and now it runs like a dream.
