Zetor 3511S
Hello, I just bought my first tractor, a Zetor 3511S, and I'm a new member of this forum. I have a 10 ha homestead and I'll be using it for hay and firewood production for my own needs. I hope to find some information about maintenance etc.
From my research its not a particularly common model (it even has a regular sticker, because the last owner couldn't find a 3511S sticker, when he painted it), it has the same engine as a 4711 model so it has 47 hp, but i don't really know whats the difference is from the 4711 model.

Hello and welcome David.
I have a 3511, and I wonder what is the difference between 3511 and 3511S?
Could it be just the type of cab? (my 3511 has a cab mounted by the Norwegian importer)

3511 has a 95 mm cilinder bore and 3511S has a 100 mm cilinder bore its the same engine as in the 4712 model , it also produces 47 hp insted of 39 hp. Thats the only difference i know.

As i saw in one cold start video, the 3511 has the key hole and starting button on the left side of the steering? Mine and 4712 have it on the right side

So, its a Zetor 4712 in the older disguise.

Seems like it yes, they were produced until 1974 atleast (thats the youngest i found on the internet) so that's 2 years into the production of 4712 model, which started in 1972. Nothing is really writen about the 3511S model, too bad the manuals are lost.
I'm thinking that maybe its an extended production version of the 3511 model with upgraded engine and other stuff, so they rode the wave of succes with the 3511 for a little longer. I really don't know, but they seem to be more abundant in the balkans, maybe it's the Yugoslavia and czechoslovakia cooperation thing or smth.

I think this is an importer's own model creation. There were many special variants in different markets. These models were never officially available from Zetor .

Apart from the engine cover, does it have any other typical features that only a Zetor 4712 had but never a Zetor 3511?
