Hi everyone .became the owner of a 1980 /7011 in a deceased estate ,its in great condition and was told that everything works ,

Can some one please explain to this dumbo how i get to raise and lower the 3 point linkage .
appreciate any help

david

Hi David
if the 7011 is anything the same as my7045 there are 2 levers on the floor between your legs the right side one as you look down on them as u are sat in the seat is hi and low box and the left is pto selector which also works the pum for rear hydraulics on my 7045 it has to be in its furthest position towards the front window have a play with that hope it helps
Tom

dear tom .Thankyou will now look at using the left lever to start the pump /what happenes then ???what other things do i have to do to get the 3 point linkage to raise and lower /told you I was a dummy .but many thanks
ps anyone can answerif they would

If you mean by what else you can do by playing with the leaver it operates pto and pump for rear linkage, just pto and just pump for rear linkage.

the main hydraulic controls are right of the seat... two levers, inside one sprung return to centre of travel is the pipe connecters at the back to tip a trailer etc, the other one is the linkage, back to raise , forward for down. you really need to find someone local who has a tractor, any sort will do, to give you some basic tips. even better get on ebay to look for a zetor instruction manual ... they do appear from time to time

Thanks so far , it appears I have to start the motor with the pto lever in gear is that right ,and yes the far right lever when pushed back raises and lower the 3 point linkage /it appears very stiff to get it in to the lift position ,is there a lubrication point for this ??,can you please advise what is the small handle in the middle between the the two levers by my feet for ??
Can you advise how I can bleed the brakes they are very spongy and the fluid bottle is full /think i may have found that instruction book too ,thanks for any input /david

the lever between the pto clutch and handbrake levers is the two speed pto lever.... i can never remember which way round it is... one way its 540 pto revs @ 2000 ish engine revs which is the standard, tother way is high speed 1000 pto revs.... normally used at about 1100 engine revs to drive low power stuff like a fertiliser spinner or sprayer pump. though some high power things like forage harvesters were designed to run with the high speed pto at 1000 rpm, unless the input gearbox on the implement is marked 1000 rpm assume its designed to run at 540 rpm.

the two peed pto lever also affects the drive to the hydraulic pump... high will give more oil flow for something like a rear mounted excavator

Thanks so far /can now get the linkage to move up and down but the lever is very hard to push into the raise position /is there a lubrication issue here /grease oil .or a pump not working properly ,from what you tell me and i thank you have i got it all set up right ??

Where does the pto lever for the pump have to be in the middle or thefurthest away ??

david

Hi David

The lever has 2 friction washers tightened by the spring. I would think the problem is not this but is where the lever pivots at the bottom behind the 27mm nut. They have a habit of siezing on the shaft. The pto lever needs to be fully forward for hydraulics and no pto.
