Was just wondering could anyone help me? I have a zetor 7011
and was wondering is there anything i could do to make it faster.
it is currently on 16.9/28 and dose about 25km. would 18.4/30 make much difference or what speed would it go then. someone
had told me to change reduction gear housings out of smaller zetor and it would make a big difference, has anyone done this before or know anyone that has , any help would be gratefull

the old 4511 had a different reduction ratio as it had 14.9-28 tires... Yours probably has this same ratio, with these smaller tires.
16.9-34 is the biggest size that fits under the mudguards. 18.4-30 is allmost the same height.

if you want more speed you would have to fit reduction gears of a 7711/7745 or a later ur1 series tractor with 30 km road speed the older ones are all 25 km road speed.

thanks for that guys, does anyone know exact top speed with the
bigger wheels 18.4/30 or 16.9/34 just so i have an idea before i try
locate either of them sizes ,thanks

search "tyre rolling circumference". This should give you a site providing a chart of the rolling circumference of all tyre sizes. Take the circ' of existing tyre, devide in to existing road speed, multiply the result by rolling Circ of proposed new tyre size and you have your answer. Try 18.4x38 and the police wont catch you.
