Greeting to all. I just purchased a 5245 with less than 400 hours, if I can believe the tach. I know I will be needing advice for getting it back in shape. Evidently it sat outside for decades broken. My friend ,who I bought it from, bought it broken and got it running. He had health problems and needed to sell it. Soo here I am with a rough, low hour tractor. Advice?

Oh the joys of learning something new. This is my 3rd attempt at asking a question. Nobody's fault but my own. Lol
Any way, how can you tell if your pto clutch is stuck? And how to free it up?

Oh, did you ask a specific question? Sorry I hadnt picked it up.

Your 2nd post: how to check if the PTO clutch is stuck. Please tell us what are the symptoms ? Any specific complaint?
