an oil line feeds oil to the injection pump, is that oil drained back to the oil pan thru the air compressor and into the timing gear cover ?

ok, thanks.

i guess then that if i drop the unused primer body away from the injection pump and fab a block off plate i will not have to fill the inj pump if oil spills out, correct ?

if the oil is drained from the injection pump it must be replaced before starting the engine, approx 10 oz was needed to quieten the cam and lifters in the pump, glad i was paying attention and caught it before destroying a pump.

lack of solid information could very well be the death of this tractor !!!
