Hi everybody, Silly question but can someone tell what grade of oil I should use in gearbox/diff ect? I think it is 80w-90 but not positive about that. Thanking any replies in advance.

cheers

80w/90 is o.k. but 10w/30 multifarm as well. It seems that 10w/30 multipurpose is better for the hydraulics.

The numbers are quite different but the viscosity is allmost the same. with gear oils, they take different measuring than with engine and hydraulic /multipurpose oils.

Thank's very much Renze, It helps a lot to know that as I am about to give a 7345 a service and information is a bit thin on the ground, it has a lot of hydraulic problems, mostly from neglect!:(:):)

yer local tract parts dealer has a regular brand name made fe just for tractors ,just tell him the kind of tractor, most tractors all use the same regulare brand with very few exceptions
in yer size just ask him
you get in it 18liters pails every part of the country has diffen brand names but the sae is almost the same
