can you please suggest or make a video on how to convert our 7745 10+2 f+r transmission to 7341synchromesh 10+10 f+r transmission with reverse gear please i cant see any video about it or get information anywhere πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ please provide your whatsapp number or facebook id so i can get information from you you are my last hope to convert our transmission

We used to have a 7340 with a shuttle 10/10 transmission. The gearbox out of them would be very similar to a 7745. But you would need some expert here to give you the correct information.

No - there are many parts others than in a 7745 gear box. 7341 have a synchronized 2. 3. 4. and 5 gear... not only 4. and 5. and as I can see other synchron rings and gears to.

Furthermore, if you wanted to convert to a 10/10 transmission, you'd need a different transmission cover, and you might have to do without the torque converter and possibly even the 1000 rpm PTOβ€”or was it the creeper transmission? I don't remember exactly, but the 10/10 had its disadvantages compared to the standard transmission.

Why would the 10/2 transmission need to be converted to a 10/10 transmission at all? Do you reverse that much and for long distances? If reverse is too slow for you, you could always convert to the faster reverse gear. This would be about as fast with a 30 km/h transmission as with a standard 40 km/h transmission.

I thought it would be a straight gearbox swap. I did many times before on Crystals, throw out the 25km for a 40km instead.

But as I said I was leaving it for the people with the know how on these tractors to answer.

Brother, the real thing is that I am from India and here Zetor had a tie-up with HMT in 1970, which ended in 1990, after that HMT made a lot of tractors using Zetor's technology, now in 2016 HMT tractor has been discontinued, its latest model is HMT 6522 which came with the legendary UR1 engine, it has a 10+2 transmission like Zetor 7745
But I want to change its transmission to 10+10 like Zetor 7341 and 7340, I have to run it on a loader dozer, we have Zetor's office in India, I will get its gearbox case and gear everything imported, if someone can help me then please πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ

I think what you are asking for here, is a very complex procedure (which I doubt anyone ever has done before), so I wouldn't be too optimistic on getting any help. Sorry.
So maybe better to see if you can change out your tractor with a Zetor 7340/7341.

What I see as the key issues here:
- He wants a reverse gear
- He wants gears 2, 3, 4, and 5 synchronized

I'm absolutely not sure whether the shafts and gears from a 7341 really fit into the gearbox of a Zetor 7745. I had a similar question (converting a Zetor 7340 to synchronized gears 2, 3, 4, and 5 instead of just 4 and 5), but I haven't been able to definitively answer it for myself yet.
I find the question interesting, but I can't really contribute anything to it yet. I would need someone who has a 7341 gearbox open to measure various dimensions. I currently only have a Zetor 5211 gearbox open where I could measure.

It's also worth noting that the Zetor 7341 has a side shift, while the 7745 still has a center shift. You'd have to adjust the shift rods or the gearbox cover...

I also think it would be easier to find a 7341 gearbox and then install it in the 7745.

But as I said, I'm not sure about any of this and will be reading along with interest. :)

This is the gearbox and casing we have
Gearbox cover is different from 7341 but similar to 7340

The 10/10 shuttle transmission housing has a different part number because the slot for the gear selector rod is milled at a different position than the 540/1000rpm shift rod.

If there are differences in the casting to support the reverse idler gear, i dont know..

I'm sorry, but as I said. I did swaps of gearboxes on Crystal to make a tractor 40k. But we just swapped the entire gearbox out and fitted a new one. The 7340 we had with the 10/10 gearbox, we bought new and never touched it.

And that's in this case also the only proper way in my opinion.

Well that's why I thought to suggest it at the start. But I wouldn't be able to answer any questions on a 7340. If it was an 8145 or 10145 or even a 9245 which is the one I converted, yes I be full of knowledge.
