Hello everyone, I just joined your forum today so forgive me if this has been hashed over several times. My wife has a Zetor 5211, I have been restoring it as it was used to push over trees by her father. The body was all dented up and all the lights and housings were busted out. Also it needed new paint. So I repainted it, redid all the wiring and put new logos on it so it now looks like a brand new tractor with old issues. The main issue I am dealing with now is the PTO clutch feels like it is locked in place. When I pull the handle the cable barely moves and I mean the movement is so slight it is barely noticeable. So needless to say I cannot get the PTO to engage unless I shut off the tractor and put it in gear that way. Is this a huge problem where the tractor may have to be split to fix? The guy that used it before never took care of it or changed the fluids. As long as it started that was enough for him. Needless to say I had to change the water pump and thermostat housing, thermostat, thermostat sensor and flushed the radiator, the list goes on. But if you could help me with the PTO clutch I would appreciate it. I have never owned a tractor nor have I ever worked on one until now. Thanks for your help.

follow the cable. you will find a pivot point i bet that its rusted. spray on som wd40 and try to wiggle it loose.
