Anyone have experience with the Quick Hitches as seen here:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93691

I have a 3320.

TIA,
Tony

You lose lift power because the implement moves a few inches to the back.
You still need to adjust the top link for many machines, and it wont fit all machines.

What we use in europe is the Walterscheid and CBM system:
http://193.99.41.56/new/de/brands/walterscheid/landtechnik/lt_produkteservice/handel/handeltas/haken/Hakenseithandel.html
many new tractors come standard with these hooks. They require you to put hitch balls on the implement. on which they hold onto.

I was going to order one of these as a surprise Xmas present for my 14 year old son to use on our MF 35. At $70 you couldn't go wrong......

BUT

Harbour Freight wanted $220 to ship it via UPS to Ireland! Yes - $220!!! It weighs about 30kg.

I asked them to ship it via the US Postal Service but they wouldn't.

Darn!!!

Internash to the rescue!!!;) Try www.northerntooluk.com Then Type quick hitch in the search box and 2 types will pop up. The ones as above to fit on the lift arm end are 99.99 They look a bit weak compared to renze's though:sneaky: also try www.qtponline.com

The Northern Tool thing is intended for hobby tractors, and will probably accept Cat. 1 hitch pins and frame size only...

The Walterscheid system is universal, can take up 3 differents categories of hitch pin balls and lasts years. It's expensive though !

Internash - the first quick hitch founds loks identical to the one found on Harbourfreight except for the price. the Harbourfreight price was $69 whereas the Northern Tools price is 120 or $216. That is a over 3 times the prices in the USA!

Yep......are the americans poor or are they just lucky;) I cant wait for the day the uk changes to the euro:D But I hope tony blair gets assasinated before this! otherwise we will get a newer more expensive Super-euro That only the uk has and it will be worse than the poundN:)
