Hi....got a 64 plate zetor 110 hsx....sadly it's not been the best tractor in the world....constant issues with engine dpf system. ...shuttle gearbox. ..dashboard. ...had 5 in 11 months...now engine smokes black heavy...and looses power...anyone else had any problems with the latest forterra. ...

As soon as its out of warranty, block the EGR and remove the soot filter. Its the common procedure on John Deere as well. Soot filters are nasty.

i have a 140 hsx. its got 1200 hours in two years. when New the dpf constantly clogged itself. daler then remowed the filter ad put in a servce filter instead, its basically a a muffler that fits instead of the filter. then he remowed a wire on the diesel pump to shut Down egr. at last he took the powe line out of the EGR Controller inside the right hand side dasboard side panel. After no more issues. tracktor goes like a lokomotive, awesome Power and low consumption. the only thing else i have changed is the heater register. everything else has been flawless, Shuttle, clutches and buton clutch has worked without problem.

Right Jorgen, i cant speak from experience but i have been waiting for your first hand reply like yours ;)
Shutting down all emission crap is a very common method to get some reliability from JD engines too..... ;)

130 hsx here. Tractor does not like idling for long periods, causes exhaust dpf blockage, so we simply turn the key off.
EGR was plated off upon delivery, do this with all my engines.
ECU replaced at 800 hours due to numerous codes coming up on dash, but no real faults. Warranty. That is the only problem it has given.
uses almost half the diesel a Valtra n123 h5 50km/h on identical trailer road work.
Pulls and grips brilliant and all the drivers happy with it.

Renze, as a side note.
Parked side by side, the hsx has a larger foot print than the valtre n.
The hsx is on 520/75 V's 540 70 rears and the 24" front tires stand taller and wider than the low profile 28s on the valtra.....
Both are on 80% as delivered from dealer new. No problem putting the power down.

Thats quite extraordinary !!

Getting some issues is no big thing with new tractors, a local contractor went to JD with PowrQuad and DirectDrive gearboxes because his latest Fendt 722 didnt pull a sausage from the table and dealer couldnt find anything wrong with it. But getting allmost half the fuel consumption as a competing brand, is quite a remarkable achievement.

Its quite known that Zetor is quite good in designing efficient gearboxes and precision machining low friction gears, proven numerous times, like the 6340 that pulled a subsoiler (mostly on its rear wheels only) faster than an MF 3080 six pot with an inefficient 32 speed gearbox and lazy A6.354 engine...

I really look forward to the time when their DSG gearbox goes on sale, and wipes the smile off the faces of Vario and Agrotron drivers, because it will prove the superiority of the DSG technology over Vario or semipowershift with the very same engine in front of it... That will make Zetor worth the look at, by PowerCommand and Dyna6 drivers in the same price segment...
