Replacement Injection pump for a 6718

Hello all
Im a long time watching and reading bits here, a very helpful place for old zetor problems! Ive an old 6718 and last weekend the governor let go on the injector pump, i opened it up and its well broke up, so im looking for a replacement pump for the old girl. My question here is which model pumps will fit this tractor? Due to the export market, Zetor bits arent as plentiful these days so im not having much luck so far. Will a 5718 pump do the job? I think i know where i can get one, but want to make sure it would fit. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks alot.

What country? New pumps are available in Australia and people have them reconditioned as well. Neither is cheap.

Thanks for reply, Im in Ireland. I have priced new pump from Czech republic, its around 500 Sterling delivered, and to get mine Reconditioned in the UK would cost nearly the same amount, so not cheap in this part of the world either. I havnt priced them in ireland for new or recon but it would be more expensive i think. Thanks again for reply.

Thanks international xl for that info. im still hoping to get secondhand pump as dont have the funds at the moment to pay to get my pump reconditioned, so hopefully some of the wiser forum members could shed light on which pumps would fit the old girl! if all else fails i will recon my own pump so will def give them a call in cork then. thanks again.

Your tractor ZETOR 6718 is equipped with a Diesel engine type Z6701. According to INFO from MOTORPAL, factory dealing with production of injection pumps for ZETOR tractors, the available injection pump that can fit your tractor could be one of the following:
PP4A8P115g-2426 with governor type RV7A225/1100-2821
PP4A8P115g-2430 with governor type RV17A225/1100-2839
PP4A8P115g-2443 with governor type RV10A225/1100-2856
Each injection pump has a small metal plate with the MOTORPAL logo, find it out in the injection pump of your tractor, it is usually riveted where the elements are, by this way you will know the exactly model you need
For your INFO a rephased injection pump for ZETOR 6718 could cost about 440,00 EUR delivered to your address in IRELAND.

Thanks for that information. I got a second hand pump over the weekend, its fitted and the tractor is up and running again. Thanks alot to all who helped me out.
