If I have a ordinary manifold inlet pipe on a 6245 and replace it with the inlet pipe used on a turbo motor but still use it as a suction system by connecting the inlet pipe to the air cleaner. There will be some extra pipes 65 mm id 65 mm id. The reason I will do this is to use the thermo start that can be fitted direct to the turbo manifold. Now to the question, will this be possible or will the engine breathing be affected negatively so it is impossible? The area on the inlet ports seems to be more or less the same.
