Hi Everyone.
I had the cylinder head gaskets done on my 7341 during the summer, it was done by the main dealer, since then I have put 50 hrs on. Recently I have noticed a small bit of engine between head 4 and the block, should I have the heads retorqued?
The main agent adviced that there is no need to retorque the heads due to better head gaskets now compared to years ago.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

retorqueing is standard procedure. run it hot, retorque after cooling down by turning a quarter stroke loose and then put back to specified torque.

yes this is the correct procedure for the super series. on the 52-7745 series it was retorqueing after 100 operating hours.
