got handbrake band sorted on my 6211 very simple when you now how thanks for the help I have one more issue now that I would like to get to the bottom of my battery goes flat if tractor is parked for more than a week battery is only new as I had to replace it about 2 months ago I had a problem with tractor over charging and so I replaced regulator under dash and fitted new battery that seemed to cure problem but if tractor sits now for a week or so battery goes dead just wondering if anyone else has seen this before

I have this problem all the time, usually means something is shorting out while it's sitting, long term fix is to find the dodgy wiring and fix it but short term easy fix is to just fit an isolator which isolates the battery from everything when u turn it off and leave sit for awhile (basically an easy way of disconnecting the battery)

Shut everything off. Diconnect the +terminal to the battery. Connect a multimeter and messure the current draining from the battery. Should be 0,1-0,3 A if your battery runs empty in a week. From here start to disconnect the regulator, alternator starter fuses and after each one check the multimeter. When the meter goes to zero you have located the problem. If the meter not going to zero I should check the wiring from battery/starter to the fuse box.
