They are supposed to be ideal for proper manure rather than slurry.In the UK they have a bit of a following for spreading poultry manure.I have never seen a good one though-all the ones I have seen have been old rusty ones so I should think a good one will be pretty expensive.
Crystalman, i can buy an old machine for 1000 Euro, that needs a new bottom chain kit of about 400 euro, and a set of bearings for the spreading deck, of around 320 euro... it looks good, paint wise, but some camwheels have just been welded to the shafts etcetera... some rough repair.
