Sorry for my BAD english, but I try my best:(

Has anybody on this forum rebuilt the gearbox (16+8 ),so the tractor go ~40km/h instead ~30? What parts do I need to by? I have heard that 3:rd and 4:th gear shift positions, and that I have to by 3 new parts? What parts are going to be unnessesary from the "old" box ? ???

40 km transmissions have overdrive: the 1st gear is left out, and 2nd becomes new 1st gear, 3rd becomes 2nd gear, old 4th gear (direct drive) becomes 3rd gear and new overdrive gear is installed for 4th gear.

I have never done this myself, so i cannot tell you if you can use old gearwheels in new position in the transmission. In theory you only have to buy new gearset for overdrive, but i'm not sure.

There is also a gearwheel combination between main transmission and rear axle, to adapt to different wheel size (18.4-34 for 4 cyl models, 20.8-38 for 6 cylinder models) so that all models with different wheel size had same top speed.
If you use gearwheels of 4 cylinder transmission (for 18.4-34 tires) in a tractor with 20.8-38 tires, with 40 km/h transmission, these tractors run between 55 and 60 km/h
