could anyone tell me if the tack on a 3340 is in minutes or hours, mine shows 0603,50 and has stopped working and I dont know were to start to find out where the problem is.

HI

Your tractor has done 603.5 hours. It is electrical and gets it's pulses from a head on the front of the timing cover.

my tack is still working but just my hour meter stopped, do they both work off the same sensor and if so is there any way to fix or do you have to replace the whole tack, or is there a way to test the sensor or hour meter motor

The sender on the timing cover has two sections to it (tahco & hrs) the hrs part has failed. Replace sender
