What`s the story of the vineyard tractor (3513 and 3013). Where the ever build by zetor or was it done by another company
I` ve seen some picture of these tractors but on the stickers it is a 3511. How is this possible?
If this 3511 was change to a vineyard how did the do that? You can not weld cast Iron.

From what you say, you already know more than you want us to assume.
Yes you can weld cast iron, though it is no job for the impatient.
cast iron needs gentle warming up and cooling down when welding it to reduce heat stress.

The 2013, 3013 and 3513 rolled off the production line as standard farm tractors, built by standard workers.
The few that were converted, were rolled into the special shop at the Brno plant, where a team of entrepeneurs chopped them to make the narrow models, the crawlers and the hillside models.

In the specialty shop, rear axle portals were just chopped up and welded back on reduced width. If i remember well, the weld was usually made on the tapered end of the trumpet housing, which means that the axle tube was partially overlapping.
