Ursus is heading to bankruptcy, so ZTS too... ZTS floated on the engine production for Ursus, as tractor producton is next to non existent.

I dont know what Martimex alfa is doing right now...

is there any chance of zts re starting again? i think if they got over the tier emissions they could make good tractors. and they would go a long way too. no electrics thats the way to be also if they sorted engines out they could get dealer lines into the uk and all of europe i myself think zts should be saved and get going again.

can they not get a contract with perkins or cummins for engines. maybe even get the 6 cylinders that are suppose to be going into the maxterra range.

why dont they joint venture with ursus and use perkins?? zts built the "crystals" for zetor and ursus so why dont they all help one another! they were all very big

i think seeing ursus is going down hill as well as zts they should join and get sorted and produce:- GOOD,SOLID EASY TO MAINTAIN,LONG LIFE TRACTORS.

iTS SAD THAT ZTS IS DOWN, I HOPE THEY CAN START TO PRODUCE TRACTORS AGAIN.
BUT WHO MAKES SPARE PARTS FOR ZETOR CRYSTAL/ZTS /URSUS TRACTORS NOW??

im not sure to be honest. but you can get crstal parts from your local dealer. who get them from zetor pdc(parts department centre). i hope zts will make tractors

BYT DO YOU KNOW WHO PRODUCE THE SPARE PARTS? IF THEY PRODUCE ALL THE PARTS, WHY NOT PRODUCE THE TRACTORS??

i thhink they still produce the parts. they can't produce the tractors because they need millions of pounds to invest in the production line to update it. and do update the tractors. but whem did they produce their last tractor?

BUT WHY MUST THEY UPGRADE THE TRACTORS? I KNOW THE TIER 2 AND3,BUT THE REST OF THE TRACTOR IS OK.
AND WHAT ABOUT URUS?DO THEY BUY ALL PARS FOR THE TRACTORS FROM ZTS, OR DO THEY PRODUCE SOME OF THE PARTS IN POLAND?

Some days ago i mailed to martimex alfa and asked about their tractor production.
Today i get answer from mr. Dobroslava Petrovicova.

They stopped their tractor production of zts last year he says. The main reason is that the diesel engine Martin Diesel not fullfill requirements of EURO III ,and also the gear box is oldfashioned he says.

very good that you contacted them would it be possible to ask them if they are thinking of restaring tractor production!

ask them why dont they use a different engine manufacturer eg perkins,cummins, iveco

ther is nothing wrong with the gearbox in my eyes less to go wrong! but your not telling me they can not invest in too making a better gearbox!

but their is probobaly more to their story!

anyways if you could ask them these questions. it would be interesting to see what they say!

yes, i will ask him about restart tractorproduction.I also asked him about ursus, and they still produce the UR II serie whith zts engines he says.
I also mailed the ursus factory last week, and asked about model 1234 or 1634 URSUS. It was no problem to buy new ursus from poland i understood.
