I got an offer on Zetor 10540 from 1999, without original cab instead a crappy custom one was installed at some aftermarket factory. Owner says gearbox is full mechanical and can't confirm anything about multipower or anything similar. Any opinions about that model/series, common problems, fuel consumption, parts price etc. Price is around 6500 euro, with possibility to trade for a combine harvester plus some cash if it's in good working condition. Any remarks will be appreciated.

If i was you i would get a 10641 because you can pick them up fairly cheep now. They are also a nicer tractor.

Currently only around 5 pieces 10540 are listed on sale at our ads sites. And newer zetors are quite rare, almost none for sale. The top offers are crystal from 2000 and 16245. Pretty much poor offers.

And even this 10540 is expensive for our poor standard, not to talk about the newer ones.

What country are you living in.
im in Ireland and you can pick them up for a good price

it looks like a open station tracktor originally that someone put a bad cab on. good tractors. it has either a mechanichal Shuttle12/12gears or a 3 stage powershift. 18/6 gears. good Power in the engine good hydraulicks. and it has the carraro front axle wich is good.

aaron11441, macedonia or fyrom. You probably have heard about it :)
Every machinery that's imported in here is quite in bad shape but prices are skyrocket high.

Anything about fuel consumption? Economic, normal or drinks like american v8 gas guzzler?
