Hi
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a Zetor 14145 or maybe a workshop manual ? I have a problem with it starting. Does the starter motor require 12 or 24 volts? I have 12 volts at the starter motor when cranking over.
Many thanks

Is there a big relay under the seat ? AFAIK all six cylinders had this relay that made a 12 volt machine run a 24V starter motor: the four cylinders had 12 volt, though we changed ours to 24V starting as well.

So yes, most probably the relay is broken. But i dont know where its located on a 141...

Hi,

You should have 12v at the small switching wire and 24 volts at the main starter lead. The box under the seat has 2 x 50 amp fuses if it is the original one. They blow when you get bad battery terminals and an imbalance between batteries if one is faulty.
