I am overhauling a 3 cylinder Zetor engine including new liners / pistons / rings etc...
Have the pistons got a direction in the bores?
To my knowledge some types of piston have a thrust and anti-thrust face...
The combustion hole on the Zetor pistons is central, so I don't think it matters.
There is an engraved picture of a piston with a conrod inside on one edge of the pistons face. Does this indicate a direction ie: have this towards the injector pump?
Can anybody confirm before I re-assemble please.
Thanks Steve....
