question Zetor 3340 removing Brake and Clutch Peddle Assembly

Hi,
Zetor 3340 with Cab
There is a mouse-nest in the lower dash compartment and I am trying to get the Brake and Clutch Peddle Assembly out of the way so to get access.
I am having a very difficult time with it trying to remove the removing Brake and Clutch Peddle Assembly.
(there are nuts on the back side that are not accessible)
I have removed a lot of bolts and not making much progress.

I am not sure the best way to get in there to clean it out.

Is there a better way to get access to it?

A little update.

I took the 4 bolts out that hold the Steering-Dash-Console which was a little help.
Was able to remove a lot of fluffy's house and the fluffy pee-poops.
Yes, it smells bad too.

Wires chewed-up are a Brown wire in two
and a Black and a Yellow not in two, but are in very bad shape.

I am not sure if I will be able to get to them to repair them.
I still need a better way to get to them to repair them.

Simply remove the cab front cover - 4 screws and then lift it up and you have a better access I think.

Or remove the dashboard holder (the red metal part) then you have a lot of space.

Update
Yes, I have removed the 4 bolts that hold that hold the red steering-console in place.
I found that disconnecting the throttle cable is a help with that too.
But, you may not like this, on the right side I cut-out a side access. (pics to come).
It is the only way to get at the chewed-up Wires to repair them.
So far I have the brown wire fixed and working on the Black and Yellow wires now.
This has turned out to be a long and big job to clean and repair.
There are a lot of holes for fluffy (mouse) to get in to do its damage.
This should have not been allowed in the first place !!!

but why? Its absolutly not needed to work at brake or clutch master cylinders...
I have changed so much cylindres , but never needed zu take a cut.

My favorite way:
screw out the 4 screws (red) and then pull aut the complete unit (OK, you still have to remove the two springs and disconnect the power cables from the brake light switches, but that's it.)


if that doesnt work, you can unscrew and remove the cab front plate - also simple and fast to do


if that doesnt work - you can unscrew the dashboard, disconnect the multiple plugs and remove the steering column rubber, then you have the dashboard in your hand. Then loosen the hand throttle cable and then remove the dashboard cover - then you have a lot of space.


3 ways without cutting everthing...

No, this is 100% not the only way and not the way intended by Zetor.

I have never seen mice damage a Zetor if it has a closed garage and/or at least cats on the farm.
You can also keep mice away electronically, there are ultrasound devices for that.

It is not good that a machine has to be outside and a farm without cats is not a farm. Buy a angry cat and the mouse is history.

Fluffy apartment house was there when I purchased the tractor.
Just want to keep more fluffys out.

I did not realizes I could remove the Firewall (cab front plate 18, 25, 24).
I had to take the engine hood off first and the Firewall get a difficult time to come out.
If I had understood that I could have remover the Hood and Firewall first would have not needed to
work on removing the red Steering-Dash-Console.

I had an accident when working on the Zetor late last night
and I am somewhat embarrass to tell you about it, as I feel very stupid about it.
I had been working on the Zetor all day making slow progress and it was hot out too.
I was not thinking clearly.
Anyways I had 3 bolts that broke off and I wanted to fix them.
I spread penetrating oil on the rusty bolts and next decided to heat them up.
The penetrating oil caught on fire and it escalated quickly.
I tried to put it out with a rage, which slowed it, but the fire recovered
and continued to escalate quickly.
I ran the other side of my home to turn the outside water on
and back to the Zetor fire, grabbing the water hose and putting the fire out.

I now have a lot of burned up wires to fix.
So today I gotten the big red Steering-Dash-Console bent out of the way,
New project is replacing burned up wires.
I am not happy about this, but will make a proper job repairing the damaged wires.

No - its not neccecary in normal case to remove the firewall. Its tight but it should work without removing the firewall.

... only who worked can have working accident. So its a normal thing, such things happens, no worry.

Oh, that was not a good day for you. I can feel it...
But you now have a plan and enough working space to replace the wiring. All will be good at the end.

First time i worked from the front. 2nd time i went in through the firewall, much easier to reinstall the cylinders and suction hoses.

With front loader mounted its a pain to work over the firewall. But without - yes works also good.

Update:
I am making progress in repairing the burnt wires.
I have the wires repaired in the Zetor and have the Dash disconnected and out of the Zetor.
The indicator-lights and wires on the Dash have some fire damaged too.
Some of the indicator-light connections on the Dash have incinerated into dust.
Mostly the male ground wire connections are gone.
Seems they are very flammable over the plastic on the wires.

Yes and the sound/thermal isolation too...

My Zetor 5011, years ago:


I pull all complely out and then I made them new. Wire for wire...


But since that I have a perfect new cable tree.


... and since 10 years not one electrical problem with.
