Hi,
apologies if I’m posting in the wrong place!

We have a zetor 4511 that we use for topping hilly land around our house. The topper will rise when on level ground (although sometimes it doesn’t!) but it won’t lift more than about 6” on sloping ground. It’s an issue that’s got worse over time.

Any ideas what the issue could be? We thought maybe hydraulic oil but no idea where to put it.

Thanks for reading.

Hi,

the place is the right one. ;)

First - download the Zetor 4511 manual - from Zetor, as PDF, for free and legal.
(At the end of the book there is an overview for services and such things)

Then you easilie find the right position to control and fill in the right oil (SAE 80W-90 API GL4) at the correct level - I also think you have not enough oil in the gearbox, so the pump sucks air instaed of oil when the tractor works in hill lands. Thats also not good for the pump.

When was the last oil change?
The manual is also realy needed for doing the right services at the tractor to prevent bigger damages and higher costs.

And, please fill out your profile with your tractor model and if possible with your location. Thanks :)

Thanks so much. I’ll download and see if we can find where the hydraulic oil goes. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
