Zetor 5718 Front Axel dust boot

we used to have a one of these too but where is a dust boot i never heard of it ?

Some front axels are different and dont have the dust boots but on mine there is two large rubber boots at the bottom of each stub axel and Im unsure on how to change them.

I seen a picture of one in an old Zetor catalogue, is the boot under where the stub axle comes thought the axle, if so it looks like you will need to open the castle nut on the top of the steering arm, take off the arm then jack up the tractor and press down the whole stub back through the axle down on to the ground.

i think your studs must have never been opened before we had 5718 and 7211 and i can't remember any rubber boots but neither tractors were bought new somebody could have whipped them off

Me too here, we have a 6718 never remember seeing them, it's only I have a Zetor catalogue for our 6718 and there is a picture of the lock on a 5718 and there is the boot.
