Hello to everyone - I am just buying a 5718. Does anyone have any advice, tips, things to look out for. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Andrew.

I have a 1972 5718 and think its a very good model.
The condition of the brakes should be one of the first things to check if you are buying one - replacing the slave cylinders can be a difficult job without the right tools.
Checkout the steering rod ends for any excessive play -these may need to be replaced if it doesn't run well on the road.
The newer 5718 models had a faster reverse gear than on mine- a nice plus if you get stuck in reverse and have to get home;).
They also had spring -latched doors whereas with the older ones you had to lift the door handle.
