Hi guys
a good friend of our family has a zetor 6211 which is having trouble at starting. when the engine winds over it wont start but if we bump start it there is not a problem.

so what do you think:sneaky:

i think the lift pump is worn out and not keeping good pressure.

Sounds more like a lazy starter or bad battery to me. Battery is easily changed. If not that, take starter out and clean rotor. I bet gunk will be on rotor and brushes may not be making optimal contact. Be careful doing this as insulation is easily damaged.

I will give it a go and see. is it awkward though because the loader brackets are in the way but oh well:)

no its not the starter the starter is fine.:sneaky:

How do you know? ???

Just because the starter turns the engine over does neccesarily mean that it is fine..they can get lazy with wear. Given that the engine starts with a pull, this looks like the most likely cause of your problem.
