Hello!

I'm sorry if this was asked before, I'm new to these forums.

I'd like to ask you guys if it is possible to increase the power of my Zetor 6245??

I would really need that extra 10-15 horsepower if it is possible?
I was thinking of installing a turbine or maybe replace the pistons from a 7245 version. I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking for advice.
I'm not interested in buying a diffrent tractor tho, it's either keep this one as it is or modify it so it will have more horsepower.
And I'm sorry if my English is bad, I'm not a native speaker.

I'm thinking of mounting a turbo on my Zetor 7745 and i have original pistons will the melt if a put on the turbo cuz some people are saying the Turbo models have stronger pistons?

This will add 15 horses to your engine if you are able to get the parts. alternatively you can take the back off the injector pump and screw the ADJUSTER 1/4 TURN INWAYS. but you tampering with the tractors security wire on the pump, but this will you about 10-12 horses

So you could also swap the engine from a 7745/7745T from a scrap yard you might get one handy.

You can get the 70hp quite easily, though from those who tried it, ive heard it gives more smoke than power.

The 6911 was the first with 2mm bigger bore, and 5mm bigger inlet valves. A 6245 has 100mm bore just like the 5911, so i dont know if its just the 100cc in displacement, or also breathing issues like the bigger valves, requiring the bigger bore to clear.

You can increase the power of a 6245 by a fair margin, but i cant guarantee you the same power and fuel economy as a 7245.

Our 5245 (102mm bore and big valve) was slightly tuned, and pulled a slurry injector in the same gear as a 6718... And both tractors needed all power they could give to maintain speed.

Would a modification that the boy racers do to their Honda civic cars do any good to a tractor. take off the air filter and fit a KN filter and take off the exhaust pipe and fit a huge stainless steel bellows
