zetor 6245

hey guys new to this site have a zetor 6245 for the last few years have a bit of mechanical background but has never serviced a tractor before so any help would be appreciated
bought 2 fuel filters and oil was told just to clean the oil filter in it not replace it?

Hi Mike

Oil filter is a centrifugal spinner type. Remove cover and aluminium bowl assy. Undo big nut and split bowl, scrape out hard black residue. When you assemble there are 2 balance marks on the ally castings. Fill the engine through the oil filter wth universal oil 10W30 or 15W30.
