my 6340 will not move . it runs fine .replaced clutch master and slave . worked fine for a month then the clutch pedal felt strange and now nothing . feels like its in neutral .Any ideas
Please check whether your clutch release bearing is being pushed forwards towards the crankshaft by the clutch master cylinder. You can do this through the maintenance window in the clutch bell on the left side.
If the release bearing is being pushed forwards even though you are not using the clutch, please check the following:
are you using DOT 3 brake fluid? DOT 4 can cause problems!
Does your tractor have a converter (underload stage)? If so, please check its function, the converter presses the drive clutch via an air cylinder and then disengages it. That could also be the case.
Was the automatic transmission set correctly when the clutch was installed?
