Zetor 6341 Steering Cylinder

I am about to replace the seals in my 6341 steering cylinder 93-0151 with seal kit 93-0152. Are there any tricks of the trade that will ensure a successful install? Looks pretty straightforward...but there's always something that might help.
I have the cylinder off and ready to pull apart. It looks like I just tap off the ends with a hammer and go to work. Is that about right?

I finally got it figured out. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Working like a charm now.
