question Zetor 6718 cab glass rubber seals

Hiya

Has anyone ever tried to re seal the glass on a zetor cab (mines a 671. I am UK bases and wondered how difficult it would be to have a go at as mine is very perished in places. Also are the glass panels a standard thickness or do I need to buy proper zetor seal? Where can I get hold of it?

Hi D,

You can buy standard glass rubber from Beno s.r.o (zetor dealer) in czechia for good price, carriage could be pricey though.
the door rubber seal is different from rest of cab. I am going to attempt to fit the same rubber seal on all of cab, (which I've already bought).
I may need to alter door glass rubber retention frame, for this to work. and I'm planning to hinge door's on 'b' post's like modern tractor's
(known as suicide door's).
