Friends,
I have several questions,
I have decided to change the oil in back end of our 6718, and have located the magnetic filter in the top of the hydraulic housing. This has been cleaned in diesel and refitted.
I seem to remember a response to a previous post saying that there is another filter located in the bottom of the unit which can only be accessed from underneath the tractor.
The workshop manual doesn't really show or explain this in any detail ( although that is the same throughout!), so could one of you kind people let me know where I can locate this filter ( assuming of course that it exists!)
I also have a small problem that, from other posts, appears to be fairly common, in that the rear hydraulics recycle when at full lift, which I think is down to a seal on the lift piston?
Is this an easy thing to repalce or should a nice man in a greasy overall and cap be appointed to do it ? I suppose I am reasonably competent with a spanner ( as in knowing one end from the other!)
Thanks for any help .
James
