hello i have at 6911
it wont start and the fuelpump pumps diesel up and all 4 "dont know what they called on english" sprays and the compression test says nothing wrong but we have a mistake about the pump maybe it is that...
dont know what to do and it is not possible to bye another pump here in denmark )-: we have also changed the fuel and we have tryed to twist the pump HELP with some ideas.......

hi mike i have the pump off and strange it is nothing seems too be nothing vrong with the pump can it be inside the pump???

Have you taken the nut off the end and removed the drive gear to check the key ?
There are 3 main things to always think about when an engine will not start :
Fuel , Compression and Timing.
As you have checked the first 2 it must be a timing problem. There is a man here in UK that will repair the pump if it is faulty but it sounds like timing to me.

hi mike nothing is vrong i have taken the gearweel off and the "not" are ok ???:sneaky::(
is there als a "not" inside the block on the tractor???

Hi

As the key is okay I think you need to put the pump back on the engine and check the timing is correct. I believe the timing gear is keyed to the shaft but this will be a big strip out to check. I have had the drive shaft twist when there is an inj pump or compressor problem. .
The older Zetors will not start from cold without the cold start in. Is it going in okay ?
What pressures did you get when you did the compression test ?
How fast is the starter turning the engine, as it needs to turn at a reasonable speed to build up compression ?
Would it start if you towed it ?

Good luck and keep trying

Mike

Hi mike cant remember what the compressions test said but they were all 4 the same before we took the pump off we had it startet one time but we had to have full trottle on and it just idle running and i have also taken the air filter off so it is not that..:sneaky:

Tom..

Hi mike

we will look at the tractor next weekend so we try some things , if the wether is with us;)

we have tryed to put a pump on from a 6718 it fits but it still wont start my question can it drive with a pump from a 6718?????????

Hi, if we feel that we have a problem with any of our injection pumps, we see if the tractor will run on ether(easy start)but as you may well know, only give a small amount as too much will damage piston rings, etc .

HI MIKE

it was the exhaust stupid me i have taken the front off the tractor incl front-axel and lookd into 4 gearwheels for timing the engine and there was nothing wrong then i took the exhaust off and it startet;)
