Otherwise you need the workshop manual for Zetor 4911 to 6945 or (its pretty much the same front axle from Zetor 5011 to 7045 or 5211 to 7745.

Great video. It's been about 25 year since I did this job on my tractor and now I have to do the other side. In the video they show the special puller/press tool 7011 9125. I borrowed one years ago from my local dealer but he has since retired. The next closest dealer is over three hours away and when I called them they didn't have the tool so I would have to buy it. The price was close to $1,200 US (OUCH!) Do you have any idea where I can find this tool cheaper or does Zetor from days in the past have plans for making one of these tools? Thanks.

Thats my own set - I buyed it for araound 8 years for ... hit me, 120 Euros? (all you can see at the photo)
Its a original Zetor set for UR1 and UR2 Zetor tractors.
When I found time, I can exactly messure it. I have used at Zetor 7745 and Zetor 9540 eg...
And no - the 5to cyl. is not enough, better use a 10 to

Yes, I was very lucky. The set was offered on eBay and there was only a very bad, dark photo. But I recognized the wooden box and thought, screw it, I'll give it a try at that price.
It was just luck.
A short time later, a dealer in the Czech Republic offered such a set for 600 euros (even that price would still be OK) and then later for 1,200 euros... but it was apparently sold.
It was similar with the sun blind in the Zetor 3320 to 7340 with BK 6245 cabin - there was the last one in a shop years ago, it was supposed to cost around 200 euros and people discussed for ages in a forum in the Czech Republic whether you should buy it, the price, etc... but hey, it was a complete set and brand new.
After following the discussion for almost two weeks, I thought - maybe I could adapt it for my Zetor 5011 and so I bought it. After that, the forum got a bit heated, so I stopped following it... and it's still in my warehouse today, well packaged as a reserve for my Zetor 7340.
What I'm trying to say is that bargains come your way. You can only rarely find them when you're looking for them or even when you absolutely need them.
Therefore, if you can afford it, you should always keep an eye and an ear on the Zetor scene and recognize and take advantage of good opportunities. That's how you find bargains.
I will messure it this weekend ...

Yep, I'm one to keep my eyes open for good deals. I consider myself lucky to have found you and anyone ever looking for that puller should appreciate you taking the time to make measurements. I remember thinking when I used one so many years ago that I should pattern it so if I ever needed it again I could just make one because it was so simple but it's a gotta have if you are doing that job.
But here it is twenty five years later and I'm having to do the job again BUT my go-to-guy has retired and no where to be found. So, I consider myself very lucky to have run into you. Thanks.
BTW - I have a 7245 that was made in 1984. The funny part is that today they say they didn't make that model until 1985 but the dealer explained to me that it was one of the first if not the very first one to roll off the production line and was definitely the very first 7245 sold in the USA. So sometimes getting parts has been a bit weird because a few of the parts for 1985 and up won't fit because they made small changes at the beginning of production.
It was almost beaten to death when I bought it and then the work began. But the engine still runs strong even after all of these years and it is still a work horse. One the first jobs I had to do on it was replace / rebuild the front hub because the inner bearing exploded out into the road because the previous owners didn't believe in grease or oil or checking seals or any kind of maintenance.

Unfortunately, I don't know exactly when Zetor made the model change. But I do know that there was a spare parts catalog from 1984 for the Zetor 5211-7245. So it is conceivable that Zetor first built the 5211 to 7245 in series in the summer or fall of 1984.

I'll try to find it. I took it off the tractor because I was making a modification and didn't want it destroyed. I put it somewhere safe. Now I have to remember where that somewhere safe is.Can you pleas send me a picture from the type plate of your 7245?
