So I patched up my 7245 & it's been working well. I've replaced some the peripherals - master & slave cylinders for clutch & brake, starter, lights, console indicators, battery box, wiring , etc. The latest is the alternator. The brushes were so worn I don't think it was salvageable. So the new one, a Magneton 9516 673 didn't come with a pulley, and the old pulley has a smaller bore. I was going to try to drill out the bore, but I'm concerned about a lack of precision that might cause the pulley to wobble & damage the new alternator shaft.

Anyway, I think I need a 98mm wide pulley with a 20mm bore. The problem is I can't find one anywhere, and all the local shops can't seem to find one, either. I think the old one is 16mm. Does anyone have a lead on this pulley? Thank you.

Where did you buy the alternator ? I also order a pulley when ordering an alternator.

I'll check. The alternator came from an electrical supply company, but I can only hope they have all the accessories. Thank you.
