Hi All
Does anybody know if a 1978 8011 Zetor Crystal would be OK to work a slurry tank agitator. Also what is the process to bleed the breaks after replacing a slave cylinder.
How many Kilo Watts or horsepower does the agitator need ?
The 8011 is 55 to 58 Kw or 75-80 HP.
Not all the engine power is available on the PTO.
To bleed the brakes;
1 - open the bleeder valve.
2 - have a helper push the pedal down, but not to the bottom.
3 - close the bleeder valve.
4 - have the helper release the brake pedal.
Keep doing 1 to 4 till brake fluid comes out, and then a few times more till air is out.
Keep the brake fluid reservoir filled up. Use DOT 3
Most times while working on brakes I don`t have a helper. I use a little air pressure on the the brake fluid reservoir and open the bleeder screw. If fluid comes out then I close the bleeder valve and test if the pedal is ``hard``
I use a reservoir cap that I have put a tire valve tube in without the valve. You need to have a air pressure regulator set really low or the reservoir might blow up.
