Zetor 9050

In America they rebadged the Poxima to 9050. What transmission would it have ?

Not sure about transmission. This tractor is for sale and I thought about looking at it but hadn't been able to find any info about the tractor. Was told it is a manual shuttle. When were they built and what is the hp?

The Zetor 9050 is part of the Proxima Silver Series. Zetor numbers in those years were 7020 (2WD), 7040 (4WD), 8020/40, and 9020/40, and 10040. The 9050, 10050, 11050, and 12050 were the upscale Proxima Plus or Power Plus series. They came with either a 16x16 mechanical shuttle or a 24x24 power shuttle. The 9050 is 93 gross engine horsepower and 83 PTO hp. It was only available in 4WD with a cab. Are you looking at the tractor at J and K Sales in Tyler, TX? I assumed you were since the tractor ad was just posted and your user name was TXrancher.

Yes. Was wondering what year model it is and anything about this model (or this particular tractor) that anyone might know. I have had several Zetors and really like them, but sure always try to make a wise purchase. Thanks so much.

Can you tell what year model it is, or get any other history about a tractor from the serial number?

My mistake... they list it as a 2008. Just wondered what kind of track record the 9050 has.

You cannot tell much from a tractor's serial number. I did notice from the pictures that the tractor has the 16x16 mechanical shuttle transmission. It is a good price on the tractor, but it does look like it has been slightly abused.
