Hi,

I have an opportunity to upgrade my 7745 to a 9540.
Not driven or seen the 9540 model before, and I wonder if it is a good tractor.
For example, are the brakes good as opposed to the 7745 dry discs whch are not so great.
Also did the 9540 suffer from the annoying lift dropping like the 7745 due to poor quality seals.
Generally speaking how does the 9540 rate. Is it a big leap forward from the UR2 series 7745.

Thanks for any advice in this issue.

It depends. 9540s came with 3 different transmission variants: 8/8 shuttle, 16/4 four speeds plus 1 reverse, 2 powershift, and an 18/6 3 speeds 1 reverse, 3 powershift.
