Hi, newbie member just joined up as have just bought a Crystal 8011.

Great site and has helped me before with my last 5811, thanks!.

Joined up as have had a search about but could'nt find my issue...

Bought the Tractor last week and all was ok, parked her up for a day or two and seen a nasty puddle of oil (quite alot too and has not been running either?) running from the under-side of the power steering big unit on top of the front axle....bugger!.

Its just my luck sadly .....

I'm pretty sure its the unit seal/s, as checked the pipes and no oil, the oil is from the center of the unit at the bottom, just above the pivot axle pin!, as its running down that and onto the axle plates then the floor!...

Ok, so does anyone know where i can find a manual /download for my Zetor please?.

And, has anyone removed this and replaced the seals?, does it need to be taken apart to fix or is it poss to do from the outside after being removed from the Tractor?.

Any help /info would be great, still steers fine etc, just not good having a puddle of oil everytime i go to it!.

Many thanks.

You can download the workshop manual from
http://www.maskinisten.net/downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=2926
You might registrate yourself before it is possible to download however it is free of charge. The problem might also be the language.

The manual says access to the steering is from the top, by removing bonnet, weights and radiator. I don't know if you can do the seals from underneath.

I'm afraid you do have to remove the nose and radiator.
the unit is easier to fix off the tractor, but it's very heavy. you really need a workshop manual to get the correct settings when you reassemble, or else you can just trust to luck and hope !!
