I am restoring an older Zetor that has stood for 10 years....
The inside of the diesel tank is rusty - flaking off.
I can get rid of most of the rust by putting pebble gravel in the tank and swilling it out a few times.
Are there any paints / solutions that can be sprayed inside the tank to improve the surface and prevent further flaking of rust.
Also it will strengthen the already weak skin of the tank....
Obviously the paint or solution has to be safe and non dissolving with diesel..
