report Zetor FIRE in Steering-Dash-Console

Had a large fire in the Zetor 3340 Steering-Dash-Console.
I am working on repairing the fire damage and I am making progress in that direction.

Oh that looks realy bad... damn. I realy hope you can repair this.

Here is some pics of the Dash fire-damage which I have removed from the Zetor by unplugging all the plugs.

I have the damaged fire-wires that come up from the floor repaired.

Still have the Dash to repair next.

I now have the Dash burnt-wires repaired.

I am working on reconnecting the many wire plugs, which I am having some difficulty matching some of them up.
For some reason Zetor used several plugs to be the same configuration with several of the wires changing into a different
color on the mating side.
I am not happy with there engineering design to have mixed wire colors through the connecting wire plugs.

Is there a good color wiring chart that shows this, so as to be a help to getting these plugs back together properly ?

Hi Joachim, Thank you for the wiring info.
I have been frustrated with the wire colors not matching up as most of the wiring
as it travels through the Plugs dose not match-up with the other side.
With this frustration some of the plug colors do not match up also
and there are several plugs with the same configuration, so they can be mixed up too.
I did mark a few of the plugs with a marker, but there are a lot of plugs and this did not identify all of them.

Today I was able to try what I was able to understand reconnecting the plugs together
and there was no smoke when turning the power on.
Next I turned the key switch on the dash and for the most part, it light up and the starter turned over the engine.
So this is good !
So I will now begin re-taping up the wire-cables and start putting everything back together.

In hindsight I should have marked all the plugs before I disconnected them.
Normally wiring engineering has a much better design.
Maybe with the newer Zetors this has bend corrected ?
If any one has to remove the Dash, marking the wiring plugs first will be a big help for you later.

Update: I have the wire cables re-taped and the Steering-Dash-Console back in place.
I do not remember how the return-spring on the Clutch went,
dose anyone have a photo showing how this is assembled ?

I can make a foto later today or eearly morning tomorw...

Thank you, I did figure it out.
Today I have the Steering-Dash-Console assembled back in place and all the wiring plugs connected.
Did a test power up and there are more dash lights working now, which is very cool !
It started up and ran very well, so I am making progress.
I still have more stuff to put back together.

Update: I have all the FIRE damage repaired and the Zetor is all back together.
Took me about two weeks to complete and I have more stuff working now then there was before the trouble.
So I am feeling much happier now.

When it was on FIRE, I did not think to try using the very old little fire extinguisher.
Anyways, I am not sure it would have worked.
