Hi to all.
First, i must say sorry to all anglophones for my bad english, i m Italian, and i have only scholastic grade English.
I' m very interested to Zetor Forterra tractor, but here in Italy, a little quantity of farmers buy them, so is difficult to me to have infos.
My land is mostly hilly, and i need a tractor with atleast 120hp because in future i have to seed without plug the land (in Italian is "Semina su sodo", achieved with a seeder with a "fresa", i wil post a pic later to explain better). I wanna know if the Zetor Forterra Hsx 140 is a good tractor for my needs, and all infos you can trown at me (about engine durability, defects, spare parts costs, price etc).
Thank you for you patience.

HI i have a 140 hsx ive put on 1800 hours on it in a three year period. i live in norway wich is a hilly country too and it has awesome power and low fuel consumption it performs as good as any 150 hp new holland better i would say. it has given me only minor troubles wich warranty has covered its a wery good tractor to buy.

Thanks for the reply! Can you explain those minor problems?

small leaks mainly some oil seals no big things, and the dpf gave me problems when i bought it. but we removed it and plugged egr so no more troubles.

A fresa is called a frees in Dutch, and a rotavator (Howard called them like that) in English. Italy is the worlds biggest producer of fresas and rotor harrows :)

In Poland they use them mostly with disk harrows or cultivators, but similar weight and length:

you see they need some front ballast to handle such combination :)

On this Proxima 120 is only a 2.5 meter combination, but he didnt leave the front loader on, just for looks..

Question: From italy, most videos on youtube about aratura, they are ploughing 50 to cm deep. Why do they do that ?
And when only using a fresa, arent you afraid of soil compaction, or do you repair the soil every 3 years with something like the Alpego supercracker ?
