Zetor tractors in iceland

Hi my name is Mikael and i live in Iceland.

I own 2 Zetor tractors
zetro 9540
zetor5511 and an ursus c-362
can any one tell me how many hp the zetor 5511 is its about 1970-1975 model i think! and also im interestid in buying a new zetor forterra but the dealer on iceland doesent whant to sell them becose they also sell the new holland and they say its the same price and a better tractor? i personaly think new holland is smooth to work on but it seems to malfunction a lot and isint as strong as the zetor but any hoo should i buy a new forterra and if so are their any accessories i9 can get with it?

Ask about new forterra from sweden or norway. I think they will be interested to sell you a one

There is shipping costs but those will be added to price of the tractor anyway, even if you buy it from iceland.

Ive been reading some brochures of the forterra and theres one thing im not sattisfied with:The heavy duty drawbar is available in several versions with varying height adjustment range, to meet the needs of every farmer and any application.
on my 9540 theres a trailor hook wich i can lower down and hook up a wagon and pull it up so it locks! is that feature not awailable on the new forterra?

That type trailer coupler is used in england and northern countries. If you buy tractor from sweden or norway, it is equipped with trailer coupler like that. If you buy it from middle europe you must take it as optional.

About prices... i dont know. You should ask from dealers.

it seems i had the wrong number i told you i owned a 5511 but its actualy a 5611 is it much different from the 5711 and 5511 ?
How many hp is it?

5611 is the cabbed version of the 5511.
5711 has the same engine as the 5511 and 5611 just a stronger front end.

Im having trouble starting my 5611 in the cold wether im having now, ive instaled another battery(originaly it had two batterys but the cabels where falling apart so i just put new capels and a bigger battery until yesterday i but more capels and installed another battery) but it doesent seem to matter?? would any one know what i could do? should i rebuild the starter?

Hi, If it is turning over slowly, the problem is either the earth connection where it goes onto the cab or chassis or go for the starter repair.

I found outn what was wrong.
The starter cabel was to thin so I put two cables from the + pole to the starter and now it works fine, but the starter has not been servised in many years, is there some thing I should do regulerly like clean it or change some parts?
