Hi All

New here and going to pitch straight in with a question if I may. OH has managed to shear off the PTO output shaft on our 5748 (don't ask!) so I am going to need to get the old one out but before I do I just want to make sure that I am right in assuming that this is just a matter of undoing the 4 bolts that retain the bearing and pulling it out and pushing a new one in, or are there any precautions I should take first?

Many thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

Best wishes

Mick.

Hi
You might have to dropp the hydpump to enter the new shaft inn to the sleve inside, beside that you should be ok.
