9641 PTO.

My 9641 PTO. goes into gear very sharply when you push the switch. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to adjust the speed at which it starts to turn, or in other words take up the drive more gently.

I eventually figured out a solution to the PTO problem. I put the PTO into ground drive, move the tractor forward a few feet to start the mower turning and then change to normal PTO drive and engage it while the mower is free wheeling. The engine takes up the drive and there is no shockto the drive train.
