Hi Zetor friends,

Greetings from Finland, i am here with my friend Nico, at Markku's home in Finland, to pick up the beer Markku offered us !!

Anyways, we enjoy the Finnish summer, the beer and the blondes  ;)

Best holiday wishes for all of you !!

Yes, but Here is fun allways. We have Sauna, Beer and Blondes- what else man really need?

Haha after 10 minutes in the sauna, i was laying flat out on the lawn, trying to keep dinner inside... ha ha saunas are not made for me !! (or me is not made for sauna !?!) :p

Yes the 2 blonde agricultural students at the old man's Farm were very beatiful and kind, and they spoke fluently English as well !! She asked if we would stay longer, but dumb Nico wanted to see if the blondes in Helsinki would be prettier !! ???

There were other tourists on the camping sites near helsinki, that ased why 2 dutch guys were going to Finland.. Haha they found it a funny story of tractor websites, front loaders and beers.. ;) ;) ;)

anyways, the front loader is working and my family loves the pictures, even though most of them are tractors... ;)

Finland is a country with no traffic jams or other signs of corwdyness... imagine that there are only 5 million people but finland is 10 or 15 times bigger than the Netherlands, where 15 or 16 million live....

Markku, i will ask for the price of the RaniWrap plastic as soon as i know what company sells it... :)

Yes, here you must go to see neighbours ;)

How is your 5245 running? Did you allready had time for mounting "new" cylinderheads?

By the way.... Didnt you take any pictures of lakes, forests, fields, blondes.... only about tractors and weard peoples doing weard things like putting grain into silos! :p :p :p

marku,

he showt us lot's off picteres butt not one off them is showing the two blondes. the sthory's are only a bout them. so my litlle brother thit sea more than only tractor's i beleave?. and yes i have sean picteres of you doing harvesting.
I hope you all can read my english.

gr. Gerlant

Markku,

Yes i also took lots of pictures of the scenery, with parts of Leena's Merci on the edges.. ;)
Gerlant likes your taste of cars ;)

Yes i was so impressed by the blondes that i didn't dare to take a picture of them, only the tractor they drove... :) now nobody will believe us.. :(

Anyways, i have cleaned the heads with sandpaper and they dont look to bad. One valve has a star like figure in it, it will be o.k. but i will change all the valves just to make sure... they are less than 15 euro a piece so i'm not going to worry about polishing used valves at all...

Last saturday, Gerlant and i picked up a front loader bucket from the northern province of Friesland, via an advertisement website called marktplaats.nl
Now i got a nice 500 liter, 2 meter wide bucket, that will be exactly suited to the capacity of the loader..

Tomorrow i am going to ask at my friend's work, for the price of a 4 section double acting valve block with Bowden cable control.
Then i will need only a feed and return hose, and then attach the hoses from the loader directly into the valve block. Otherwise i had to use 10x 2 meters is 20 meters of hydraulic hose extra, to put the oil lines via the cab, leaving no room in there at all...
This will be cheaper and better... ;)

Pushing trees, scrubs and brushes into the bush, is a world of difference... at our branches dump place, the Zetor pushed 3 trailers of branches further than the Deutz pushed only 1 trailer load of brushes..

You get used to luxury pretty easily ;)

Here is a picture of the bucket on marktplaats:
Saturday i ground out all the teeth (it was used for silage before)

Yes indeed! I think those 2 cute girls made quite an impress to Renze and Nico ! ;) You should be here to see their eyes after they met those blondes. My quess is that Renze and Nico cant forgot those girls never. Perhaps they are coming back here Finland at christmas holiday! ;);););) And they come back to Holland with finnish wives !!!!

Anyway, back to "tractor business" It is easier and more comfortable to mount and use cable controlled block, but those cables and levers are expensive. Allthought there is no choice. Block and hoses in cabin arent solution and those are even illegal, least at here. So I am a griminal because I have forestry lifter and its block is inside cabin without any safety protecting. I mean, if I kill myself via hot high preussured oil they will put me into jail :( Wait a minute! ;) Is that possible at all 69)

Markku,

I have installed the hydraulic block and my neighbor has plumbed the lines to it. Now i need to make a hole in the cab floor and mount the cables nicely, because now they are just sticking through the opened window.
I have welded my Euro connect frame but now i need to get 32 mm pins lathed, with grease zerks drilled into them.

Ehhmmm... Returning at christmas would be nice, but i think that is going to be a bit expensive... When are you going to come to visit Holland ? ;)

Greetings to Leena and your parents :)

I did see your pics about your loader! It looks good! And what is most important, it seemes to be working fine! As well as bale clamp! I was doubt anbout stability of 5245 (short and light tractor) but it seemes it isnt any problem. And you can mount extra weight to 3-p hitch anyway.

Yes I will come to visit sometime, but dont know when :( We have building works coming too and dont know when i have holiday :( But it is sure i will come someday!

Markku,

I have been welding a frame yesterday to put 2 used forklifts on.. It carries 950 kg of concrete on a pallet, without taking it's rear wheels off the ground... but 4wd is very welcome in that case.. ;)

Hello Renze!

I have been little busy..... But yesterday evening i got all fields ploughed finally! Yes i ploughed at this year not cultivating anything.

After you leave Finland it stopped rainig! And we havent got any rain after that! I think clouds follow red Volvo everywhere it goes ;)

Anyway, the soil was as hard as concrete to plough! It took 2 times more time and 4 times more fuel than usually! And there was some places where plough just jumper up!

I got good luck I found factorymade 3 point hitch for my Zetor but i havent got time to pick it here. I just hope it is still there! That would be something and what is best..... I dont have to make support frame for myself ;)

How is it going at Holland?

Hi Markku,

Yes after two weeks of delay, the clouds followed the red volvo... ;) we were lucky to make it with the fuel we got, it was nearly empty when we reached the Steernbos...

Anyways, i havent seen your plough.. ? is it a 3 or 4 furrow ?

What are you intending to use the front 3ph for ? are you going to make a front mounted crumbler or seedbed cultivator ?
The excavating for the riding school is done, and folks from the construction company my brother used to work for before he started working as a blacksmith, are running through the excavated ditches... cheap labour, as he is married with the daughter of the companies accountant !! ;) ;)

I was thinking use it for carrying extra tank for spayer and for snow plough. It would be handfull as a front weight carrier too! You make 3 different weight, 100kg, 500kg, 1000kg, and then you can rapidly take what you need......

I have 3*3 "air cooled" plough as we say here ;) You know there water cooled and air cooled engines so there is normal ploughs and air cooled ploughs

Anyway i got propably new contract for some extra fields so it will more than dublicate mine ploughing work at the future. And i propably extend ploughs as 4*4. It wont cost much but 7745 will really need that 1000 kg extra front weight and i must mount 2 nd external hitch cylinder too!

I hope it dont break between engine and gearbox :-x

YES and it would be useful if man could keep several wifes :)

One would be law specialist, one plumber, one keeping up the household works, one for paper works, one construction engineer, OR daughters of peoples like that :D:D:D:D

But my favorite would be a girl who would be daughter of man who ownes Zetor factory :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

But about this conversation we dont talk anything to Leena :-x

Markku, i can give you the DWG files for the subframe i made....
With 1000 kg on the front and 4 furrow reversible plough, that would be safer i guess... ;)

By the way, why dont you plough with the 16245 ??

ZTS needs 5 or 6 furrow before it is has any sence to plough with it. That kind of reversible plough is quite a heavy and the weight on rear axle becomes too high :( Ends of the field wont grow nothing next 10 years :(

Wagon type 6 furrow reversible plough would make things different, but using those for 2 ha fileds..... It is mostly a joke....

I think opmize here is 4 furrow reversible plough. It is handy and it isnt too heavy yeat.

And if it is possible to pull with 7745 it takes less fuel and is faster to turn around at the end of the field what ZTS would be.

Hmmm.

Yes dwg file would be something, that could be used for forestry lifter adapter too.

You know my E-mail adress ;)

O.K. i will sort that out.

I will put some modifications in it, the frame i built was more complicated than necessary... You can make a better frame with half the work, but that's what you see only afterwards... ;)

Hey Markku, what is the price for a replacement oil pump of a 5245 ? You said they usually last 3 to 5000 hrs so i suppose you know what they cost ?

As far as i know it's somewhere between 250 and 350 euro ?
Is it possible to set the pressure relief valve from 160 to 180 bar ?
